About This Itinerary
The Char Dham ("four abodes") is a set of four pilgrimage sites in India. Vaishnavite Hindus believe that visiting these sites helps achieve "Moksha" (salvation). It comprises Badrinath, Dwaraka, Puri and Rameswaram. It is considered by Hindus that every Hindu must visit the char dhams during one's lifetime.
Detailed Itinerary
Arrival Dehradun
Dehradun is the starting and ending point of this yatra. The first day of your journey shall be spent at Dehradun.We give our guests a complimentary stay on their date of arrival
Yamunotri Dham
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed to heli-base in Kharsali, where our ground crew would be ready to welcome you.From Kharsali, Palki and Pny shall be arranged for the guests, the distance to temple is 6km,and return journey will take approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Gangotri Dham
After breakfast you will be taken for Gangotri dham darshan after breakfast,around 0900 hrs. Time taken for Gangotri temple darshan : 3 hrs 30 min ( both way).The road distance to Gangotri temple is approx 25 km, which is roughly a 50-minute drive.
Kedarnath Dham
After breakfast proceed to Sersi , from where the shuttle services for Kedarnath ji shrine starts. Guests will be ferried to Kedarnath Dham in a shuttle service flight. You will get approx 2 hours time to have darshan and report back to Kedarnath Ji Helipad.Our crew will escort you to the temple.
Badrinath Dham
On arrival check-in at hotel, you will be taken to Badrinath Ji temple in the afternoon for darshan.Time taken for Badrinath temple darshan is approx 1-2 hours. After darshan , if time permits we will arrange your visit to Mana village the last village in India.
Departure Dehradun
Upon arrival at Sahastradhara, meet our representative and proceed to Dehradun hotel to collect the luggage from cloak rooms and then you will be dropped to airport / railway station for your onward journey.
