About This Itinerary
Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse, which dates to the early 1700s.

Arrival
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP station / IXB airport & transfer to Gangtok - "The Capital City of Sikkim". On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel
Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake)
After breakfast start for a day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), 34 km from Gangtok city & Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight at the hotel.
Gangtok - Lachung
After breakfast drive to Lachung (altitude 8800 ft) for about 6 hours. Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sisters WaterFalls, Naga WaterFalls. Stop on the way for lunch. Reach Lachung by evening. Dinner at a hotel. Overnight halt at Lachung hotel.
Lachung - Yumthang excursion -- Gangtok
Early Morning visit Yumthang - Valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to the resort for lunch. After lunch drive to Gangtok enroute witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls. Overnight Halt in Gangtok.
Gangtok-Pelling
Transfer to Pelling. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
Pelling
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Falls, and Kanchendzonga falls, Khecheopalri Lake. Overnight Halt at Pelling
Pelling –Darjeeling
Transfer to Darjeeling, one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill Queen. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling
Darjeeling
Early Morning visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to the hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), back to hotel for lunch. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling. As per new traffic rules introduced at Darjeeling extra amount of INR 500 – 1000 per person can be charged by the time of sightseeing.
Darjeeling - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport
After breakfast transfer to NJP Stn or IXB Airport for the return journey.
